lost tridacnid

have I recently lost (death) in little time two small tridacnid (3/4 cms) the evening they were open without problems the morning you/he/she had remained a transparent glaze who is the killer?

p. s. in the tub I have a greater of it 10/12 cms I would not like...

the sale of the young samples is not forbidden? the market is rich of these small ones...

Their mortality is just naturally high. That is why when clams spawn, they can produce massive amounts of offspring. Smaller organisms ar typically more sensitive, more likely for predation, less established, etc. There is no restrictions on their sales, because people will buy them.
 
from what organisms can be killed in aquarium crabs hairy worms.....
what to do for avoiding its death? which to seek raiders?
I desire to insert again her but I am doubtful on the measures to choose (small, medium,..)
