Lots of baby tube worms

Every where I've read it says that tube worms won't reproduce in a tank. But I've got millions of them. They started out very small and now have gotten much bigger. They have started to attach to the back of the tank. Very cool. Just wondering how normal this is for a tank? I only had 1 tube worm in my tank to start.

This isn't the best picture as it's from my cell phone, but maybe you can get the idea. There are about 5 or 6 of these "balls" of tube worms around my tank. I have no clue as to what they hitch hiked in on as I haven't added anything but very small polyp's.
