LOTS of tiny bubbles

are coming from my rocks...normal? I mean a sea of little bubbles. Is it a result of the diatoms? Tank about 6 weeks old. Parameters are now pretty darn perfect.

Do the bubbles dissipate once the lights go off? If so what your seeing is probably just oxygen being produced through photosynthesis. (algae growth) This is actually pretty common for a tank of that age.

My tank is pretty new. I remember seeing this off of my base rock a few weeks in. I had about 50lbs of base rock that was dry and 150lbs of "reef transplant" rock. It stopped after about a week. I'm unsure if it occurred after lights out.

Yep, turned the lights on this morning, just a few tiny bubbles.
