WOW I have not been to this section in forever. I am actually the guy who had them start this club forum a few years back. Due to the lack of intrest I just gave up and stopped holding club meetings. I come in today after prolly a 8-10 months of not being on RC to find a sload of local reefers. I know Tazman but the rest of your names are not firmilar. Nice to see there are so many of you guys in the fort.

I am new to the forums (within the last two months). I hope to meet many new local reefers soon. I am really looking forward to the meetings coming up to learn from others.
 
How have you been Troy.
Did you convert your tank over to fish only?
Maybe you can check up and attend a meeting in the fall.

Yeah I am all backed down to fowlr again. Much simpler with my busy schedule these days.
I was shocked to see so many people using this area now days.. How things been with you chad?
Talk to ya soon. Heading off to my 2nd job. I just always check email before I go.

Clownkeeper whats up, I am the one that is trying to get the club up and going again. We had three meetings this last winter and will start again this fall. Please feel free to come to any of the meetings.

Wish you the best of luck getting it going again. I also hope you have a group that is willing to help you out. When I was trying to get it running and chad can confirm that we had people that would always complain and want stuff changed and were not willing to do anything to help change them or give ideas on how to change them. All they seemed to do was complain about what they were getting for free.... GO FIGURE. I finally had enough and told the group you don't wanna help I am not gonna do it any longer... So I disbanned it and kept in touch with a few of the memebers.

I read in one of the threads on here that one of you that are posting alot now days had a friend that attended the meetings when I was doing them and told you about it.. Was wondering if you had any idea who that was?

I just heard what you just said, I heard there was a lot of in group bickering and it slowly disbanded.
 
Yeah thats pretty much what happend... My thing is if your going to complain about something then help make it better.. Don't complain then complain some more.
here is an example
I had made a club logo and everyone like it. About 2 months after that a member voiced that she did not like the graphic anymore and wanted something differnt. So I told her to put something to gether and see what the group liked and wanted to use...
They put together nonthing and complained a few more times about it. So I ended up telling them to stop *****ing if they weren't gonna put forth some effort and help.. They stopped showing up at meetings... GO FIGURE

ahhh some people just like to b**ch for b**ching sake and never put forth any useful information or solutions. Hopefully things won't progress down that road...

Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum as of about 3 weeks ago. I moved back to the Fort about a year ago and have been trying to find local reefers. Hope I will be able to join everyone in the fall.
