Hey everyone,

My tank is probably in its 6-7th week, (60 gal. cube) and is filled with only live rock, 4 turbo snails, 2 skunk shrimp a peppermint shrimp and a bi-colour blenny. I noticed after about the first week one little snail popped up. a few weeks later another smaller one did. Yesterday I counted at least 35 of them! now these are really small and my first thoughts are that these are probably beneficial to the tank but, I'm just wondering if I need to keep the snail population under control or if I even need to be worried about it.

Some snails breed like rabbits.

Mine self regulate on their own. Even though I have an explosion of babies, if they have no food, they die off. Totally normal in my view.

They're probably collonista snails, a common hitchhiker. They're beneficial and the population will self regulate over time.

It's the turbo snails. I only have 2 turbo snails in my 60g and lots of little ones. They all seem to stay pretty little so I don't think they will cause any problem.
