Lotus50God 360 update

I bought a new house and had to break down my 360 reef to move it.
The tank was nothing special at the time but I wanted to 'do it right' in the new house and got the thumbs up from the wife to put some $ into the tank.

So....
1. I had a professional buff and polish my 360 gallon tank. The tank 84Lx36Wx28H..
2. I had the same guy modify my sump to make it more user friendly and fit my new Vertex Alpha 300 skimmer.
3. I had a custom wood furniture maker create a removable skin for the metal stand
4. Upgraded from 3x400 MH lights to 6x AI Sol LEDs
5. Replaced AC III with APEX
6. Created new bonzai inspired rock work by cementing rocks together. This will only allow for 3-5 foundation rocks to actually touch the substrate
7 removed the closed loop from my tank, will be replaced with 2 MP-60 Vortecs
8. Had an electrician drop 2-20 amp GFI protected outlets for the tank
9 Vertex bio pellet and carbon reactors

I will post some pics soon. The rock is curing and I need to start plumbing the sump tomorrow so I can fill by Sat

Sounds like it will be an interesting thread to follow, looking forward to pics.
Is there anything specifically that you felt you did wrong last time and you will avoid doing again?

I bought the tank second hand a few years back, and it had 8 holes for a closed loop in the back of the tank. The previous owner used it as a swim tank and had a OM 8 way. I felt this really did not give the flow I wanted in the tank, even with a Sequence Dart pushing the water. The New MP60s will be more power efficient and move move water; hence the reason to close off the holes in the back.

Next, I thought the rocks took up too much space on the sand bed. So I go the idea to cement the rocks together from another reefer here in AZ. Mine are going to be a little different from his, but same concept.

My previous skimmer was too small for the bio load. It was fine while the fish were small, but as the fish grew so did my nitrates. My new skimmer will allow for adequate nutrient removal.

My old sump was more for a fish only system. I took many ideas from people on RC on a better way. I think the 4 chamber system will cut down on bubbles and still allow for a fuge to be successful.

My old lights were costing me a FORTUNE. LEDS are the way to go for power consumption. They are pricey but I have no need to change bulbs and I watched my electric bill cut by 30% when I installed them.

I will take some pics today of the rocks as I already have one formation in the dry tank.
