Loud fan on Hamilton pendant?

I just bought a 1 1/2 year old used 4' Hamilton pendant (MH 250Wx2 (magnetic ballast)110W VHOx2). The fan sounds loud. I'm new to the hobby, should it be this loud? If so, are there quieter fans? Thanks

The fan is gone...you can purchase them from Custom Aquatic.
I had the same problem.

Thanks... it doesn't necessarily sound like metal scraping, or anything. Just too darn loud. I'll try replacing the fan.
