loud noise from a blueline 40hdx

I have this pump set up for my close loop and I have the pump set up on the back wall of my stand could this pump be set up this way?????should it be sitting on the bottom of the stand??? can some one help? is that the reason is making so much noise????

You could try putting some foam or other soft material underneath it to try to dampen the vibrations. I can't picture your setup just yet, so I can't comment more. Could you post a picture?
