Loud osmolator?

I've had my osmolator for about a month now. I set it up before leaving the country for three weeks, and it has been doing great (reservoir was filled up all the time while I was gone.

I noticed though that the pump is really loud. We live in a condo, so I can hear it in our bedroom at night (or any other time of the day). I'm just wondering if the pump is supposed to be this loud?

It does have a bit of a "whirl" to it when running. Try suspending it in the container by the cord and hose so not touching the bottom, it seems to help lessen it.

when the reservoir gets low, the pump gets loud. Try to make sure it has plenty of water in it.
