Love my TBS decision

4 days after step 1 with the package in my new reefer 170, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, 5 nitrates and crystal clear water. I just turned my skimmer on last night and will likely only run it at night when everyone is asleep. The bio diversity on the Rock is amazing. I also ended up with a small pincushion urchin, a bunch of porcelain crabs, hermits, snails, and a few pistols that I only hear so far.

Boxes were so carefully packaged that I haven't experienced any major die off although I expect some of the sponges ImageUploadedByTapatalk1452523279.543776.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1452523292.229799.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1452523305.689098.jpg to not make it with only 5 hrs a day on the lights right now.

The 2.1 Rock is so cool. It's time to start to aqua scape the first package of rock in preparation for step 2

My kids race downstairs every morning to find "spiky" sea urchin. I could not have made a better decision on choosing TBS for my rock and sand.

Love my TBS decision

I ended up getting 74 lbs of rock, which was based on my 37 gallon display. At first I felt it was too much, but the pieces had so many different shapes, I have a very cool structure with all sorts of caves, nooks and crannies, and load of water flow throughout.

It's been 3 days since I added the second part of the package in. In addition to the rock and CUC, I got some goodies, two rock anenome's, a flame scallop, royal gramma, a fragment of some zoa's, a sea fan, and some sponges.

I know that the sponges and the flame scallop are deemed "expert" so I'll keep an eye on them closely. If I feel either aren't going to make it in my tank, I'll bring them to my LFS, which is a solid shop.

Photos with iPhone don't do it justice, but here are a bunch of photos of the tank as of last night.
