LOVETHISHOBBY's Coral Pictures

Is the house guest reef safe???LOL

Corals look great Rob. I see a few that when you are ready to part with them, I want in line.

Great shots Rob! That Bubble Gum Monster shot looks just like the one in Reef Hobbyist Magazine.

That third picture of the turtle is sort of feaky!

Rob could you tell me what camera you are using? My fugi doesnt pick up color well at all everything really goes blue on it.My T5ho look pretty good but the camera just doesnt do it any justice. Thanks much Jesse

Thanks to everyone for their kind words. I thought everyone would like the pictures of the turtle. I thought the Tang ate alot. Holly Cow, this guy eats blood worms like I've never seen before.

The camera is a 7-8 year old Sony that uses the small CD's. It's old, but still does a great job taking pictures.

He belongs to my next door neighbor. With the power outage, I ended up with his fish and turtle. My cats just love messing with him.

I have an older camera also. the pic was alway off. I read alot in the photography forums here and on michiganreefers. I know use it in manual mode and get good pics. I adjust iso and other things to make it come out right. Auto just doesnt cut it.
At tax time we want to get a nikon D80 or D90

You might want to check your home owners policy. Back in 2002 when the big tornado went through Van Wert, I had no power for 4 days and lost everything in my 180g. My Insurance would not cover because Corals were considered Pets because they are live and not covered by normal home owners coverage.

Thanks again to everyone for their nice comments. I ended up losing one Acro through all of this. My green cloves looked bad for a few days, but seem to be coming out of it now

I took a separate rider out on my home owners insurance just for my fish tanks. I provided them with pictures of all my tanks and a list of my current corals and approximate worth. It costs about $500/year, but well worth in my mind. If I were to lose everything, insurance would pay 100%.
