Finally figured out how to post pics so it's time to post a little tank bio.
Purchased a 29g bio cube in early december from pet kingdom for $219 (cheapest ANYWHERE, even on-line). Wanted a MH (stock hood had PC's) so I ditched the stock hood and made my own canopy, made my stand as well. Tank equipment specs. are as follow's:
Built in false wall which includes: heaters, custome fuge (In chamber 2 where bio-balls were), and the return pump (MJ 1200). DIY auto top off with 5g reservoir. MJ 600 for flow in the dispay. Soon to add a small canister filter for media filtration.
DIY cutome hood includes: 70 DE MH 14k, 32w actinic PC, 13w 6.5k PC (for fuge), (2) 4" fans.
The tank was supposed to be a zoa only tank but that didn't last long. It is now a mixed reef with SPS, softies, LPS, zoa's, and a clam. But zoa's are dominate.
Now for the PICS!
