I see the Tunze controller can be set for lower flows at night. Is there any advantage to this? I know it mimics nature but so do moonlights and they do nothing for your tank.
When my dart was acting up I was shutting it off at night because it was really noisy and I couldn't sleep. IMO it isn't a good idea. My corals lost color. I think some feed at night so why would you like less movement?
