Low PH, How to raise?

All my other params are good (almost perfect), but my PH is low (~8). I would like to bring it up a little bit, what is the easiest way?

Need more info? Just ask :)

I suspect your PH is fine.

In general PH basically controls itself so long as you have a reasonable level of alkalinity and some surface water turbulence to help insure proper aeration of the tank. Its common for tanks to have a PH lower than 8.0 in the morning and higher than 8.2 late in the evening ... no big deal.

Whats your alkalinity level? .. its the first thing you should look at when your think you have a PH issue.

Typical alk level in our tanks range from 2.5 - 4.0 meg/l .. if yours is 3.0 then your OK.

Heres a link which discusses normal water parameters for our tanks .. might help.

If you want to raise your alkalinity level then simple baking soda should work fine ... heres a chemistry calculator that will help you determine how much .. just make sure you use the actual water volume in your tank rather than the tank size.
