Low pH?

What are some causes of low pH?

I just moved a 75 gallon tank to my house three days ago and the nitrates were very high initially. I've done three small water changes each day and the nitrates are slowing coming down. It seems that the pH is slowly declining now though. Any advice?

Usually high Co2 levels in the tank depress pH. Need to get some fresh air in your house. The pH will go down overnight however. It will raise during the day after the lights go on.
