Low salinity question

I come to fins out the refractometer I am using was off by quite a bit...what salinity per day should I raise it to bring it back to appropriate levels? Thanks

Top off with sw till your back in line

Instead of using fresh water for evaporation top off, use water at the salinity you wish to achive and it will slowly raise daily. Once you reach your desired salinity if there is much left on your top off water reservoir (check salinity in it since it has likely evaporated some as well and adjust it with freshwater to desired salinity ) use it as a small water change.

That's how I'd do it anyway.

how often do you calibrate your refractometer? i calibrate mine about once a week just for safety, otherwise the reading can be innacurate
