lowering Ph?? how??

just got back in town and noticed my ph is a little out of wack. My xenia is not pulsing...how should I adjust the Ph? everything else is looking good. thanks

Why in the world do you wish to lower pH from 8?

If anything you'd want to raise it to 8.2 assuming we're talking about a salt water tank.

I always ran my ph at 7.6 - 7.8 during the day and it runs higher at night. should I leave it alone? what else could be causing the xenia not to pulse? not a xenia fan but now it just looks like weeds. thanks again

That's the opposite of how it works. When the lights are on it should be around 8.2(during photosynthesis) it should then drop at night to around 8ish when the lights are out. I wouldn't worry about the xeina that stuff can come back from the dead!

What are you using to test PH? sometimes the test kits are really hard to read. You'd probably be better of with a ph meter.
