LPS and high alk consumption?

does anyone else find that there LPS have a huge demand of ALK? or an i crazy?

Well, I can't quantify how much they use on their own, but since I've started dosing 2-part with the addition of my SPS, I can say their growth & colors have improved, especially my acan lord.

I thought I was just seeing that and it must be something else dropping my alk like crazy but, now that you mention it my Elegance has been growing like crazy and maybe that is what it is. Beats me. I have been dosing ALK like it is going out of style lately.

I dose 20ml of 2 part daily to maintain 9.0 dkh in a lightly stocked 60g. 1-3 head torch, 1-3 head hammer, 1-7 head Duncan. Some zoas and softies.

I am dosing 30 ml daily of C balance to maintain a dkh of about 10 with a heavily stocked 90 g... Tons of Euphylia, a load of Duncan's, Zoas, Acan and mushrooms

Should I be concerned, Chris? I test once a week after the first couple of weeks, and it is always spot on.
