At last years annual swap and specifically the tour of Aquaculture Facility, I noticed a large beautiful coral with multiple heads and asks one of the helpful workers what it was. I was told it was called "duncan whiskers" and was not a high maintenance coral. And to my joy was being sold in the store for $70. I bought one and a few other things.
Duncan did great for about six months and even started budding more heads around the single head.
Fast forward to X-mas time and for a reasons not known to me still, several corals took a turn for the worse including my prized "duncan". It just slow receded into the stony skeleton until there was only skeleton.
Fast forward to yesterday when I occasionally scour the tank diligently looking for anything new or signs of trouble. I noticed on the dead duncan which had been lifeless for five months now had two baby duncans coming out of the center of the dead skeleton. AWESOME!!!

PS. Looking forward to this swap!
