LPS feeding

In Memoriam
So I've read that most people tend to feed their corals in the evenings after their lights are off, due to the tentacles being more active during those times. I have noticed that my trumpets show their tentacles more at night, but my brains, frogspawn, hammers, zoas etc all seem to be closed up after the lights go out. I guess I am confused on when I should be feeding. Until recently I haven't fed them anything, but I just got some marine snow since I've heard that it's beneficial. Please advise on what time and how often to feed. Thanks!!!

Mine open anytime I feed. When first added they only opened at night. But have learned to be more opportunistic and extend anytime they catch a whiff of food.
