Newbie here, 120 gallon 4ft tank with 2 Rdion XR30.
have zoas and monti that do fine. Looking to add coral that has striking color and movement, what's suggestion LPS for beginners? I heard hammer and flower pot are difficult

Thanks

Look at any of the Euphyllia's (Frogspawn, Hammers and Torch) but stay away from the "wall" type and get the branching ones instead. Also a great coral is the Duncan, this is easily my favorite coral. I've got a page in this forum called New Additions, you can get some ideas from what I've got. The Elegance isn't a hard coral to keep as well. Then you can get some of the different softies/leathers.

Take a look around and let us know what you like before you go buying any. Some can become pests and take over your tank.

Frogspawn, Hammers, Torches, and Duncans are my favorites and easy to keep. I agree with the above to stay away from the "wall" ones, they are harder to keep. The branching ones are easier ime

IMO, Frogspawn, Hammers, and Torches are hit or miss. Duncans, acans, favias, candy canes, plate corals I all had good success when I started out.

Scooter, were those wall corals by chance? Also most people listen to the very high turnover rates of in the tank, well this isn't good for any LPS they prefer slow erratic current.
