What brand of salt? What do you feed the tank?

Well when it happened to me it affected the SPS the most, but everything was affected somewhat, I only lost SPS though. Everything else recovered. Do you have a pic of the tank? Maybe there is some chemical warfare going on.

How do you feed your LPS? Maybe they need to be fed.

That is something I would not recommend. You could seriously shock your system changing that large of a volume out in one attempt. If you're going to change large amounts of water, I like melev's back to back to back water change method. Allows you to change out a large overall amount, but in small increments... so the shock is minimal if at all. More work, but much safer IMO.

Start simple...

Did you happen to bump a powerhead or something cleaning the tank?. Honestly LPS corals in my experience will tolerate parameter shifts MUCH better than SPS. Especially the ones you have listed. However, IME they will pitch a fit if the flow or lighting is suddenly changed.

Also, do you spot feed?

Maybe I missed it, but what is your Cal level.

And was mentioned, the "issue" with GFO, if you you too much at first it will lower the Alk.
