LPS suggestions?

Looking for a slow growing/encrusting type of LPS. Medium light medium flow. Quite a few peaceful corals nearby. What are some suggestions that have short sweepers?

Well they're not encrusting LPS but a blasto frag or a merletti mini colony could be an idea. Chalices are great, but are really aggressive.

Yup, Acan echinata. Are the regular acans counted as encrusted?

I'd consider all acans "encrusting" if you put them on a rock - but I just suppose it all depends on how you define encrusting.

As far as the original poster's request for 'short sweepers' I assume they're looking for non-aggressive corals. I wouldn't consider any of the acan family non-aggressive. If there are peaceful corals nearby, they'll take them out.

I have my eye locally on these exact two specimens. A blue/green colony and a orange leptastrea. Nice pieces cloak

Cyphastrea are great corals and do well in most areas. The ones I've had experience with usually lose the territory battles.
