lps sweeper tentacles

I have some lps in my 2.5 gallon tank and they're growing long sweeper tentacles that have damaged a few of my soft corals. Would it be damaging to the lps to remove the sweeper tentacles with a scissor?

Thats kind of like me asking you if it would be harmfull if I cut off your fingers......
First off I think you would have a heak of a time trying to cut them off..if you were able toget one I'm sure the reaction of the corals would be to pull the rest in...and the one you cut off would regrow in a couple of weeks anyways...
You may just need to accept that the coral may not be suited for your nano...
