LPS TRANSITION FROM PC to MH

hey guys, i am going from PC's to MH's tomrow and have some LPS that i am worried about. i have 2 acanlord colonies and 1 acan enchintia. my question is will they easily adjust to the new lights? they were all under MH's when i bought them 2 weeks ago.

They should be just fine.

You could raise your light a few inches and reduce the photoperiod. Slowly lower and increase the length of time the light is on over the course of a few weeks if you want to be cautious.

In the wild, they'd probably face a few weeks of diminished light during the rainy season and bounce right back after the sun came back out.

Whatever you decide, keep an eye on them.
But that goes without saying.

I used the egg crate thing. Actually I still use it, thought it might help if a fish decided to jump

whats the eggcrate method? i am currently using 3 sheets of a nylon metal thing. it is basically that metal sheet you put in front of your windows to keep the bugs out. i will be removing one sheet a week.
