LR came withseveral clams

My LR has 2 clams I know of. One is quarter size ,with red mantle The other is much larger, about the size of a small potato This clam has opened up and drawing water with a tube of sorts but showing no mantle.I'm working on a photo. I'm running 3 double shop lights with normal output 65k daylights & actinats. I think my lighting is not anough.What steps should I take? Thanks Brian

Those do not sound like tridacnids, but a photo would indeed help. If they are filter feeding clams, they will not need any more light; but they will need some phytoplankton to survive.

sounds like maybe a flame scallop on the red mantled one. pics would help
