LR Hitchhiker - Discosoma?

Is this a discosoma of some sort? I've seen it eat small pieces of mysis shrimp. It has doubled in size in the two weeks since I added the rock.

Thank you so much!

Does this mean it's not a mushroom? It's getting huge; almost 2 inches in diameter.

Here's a view from the side while it was stretching slightly and not all the way open:

Whatever it is, it's happy, I guess. Still no ideas?

Hi! Is an Actinodiscus I think... It looks like those... But I'm not like super pro at the ID thing... Beautiful avatar by the way... Is a hedgehog?

Thank you! I just wasn't sure because of its weird mouth. As long as it isn't going to sting my other corals to death or anything I'm planning on keeping it.

It is indeed a hedgehog! His name is Finnick and he just turned a year old :).

Very welcome! Mines have always been peaceful, I even got one of those furry ones and seems to behave, but it is very small like 2 inch, but is so cute.
What corals you plan to keep?

Is so cute! I'd hug him all day!
He is quite young, are his needdles sharp? Well maybe that's not the correct word...
Is he huggable? :D

I was thinking mainly zoas with maybe a kenya tree or a cauliflower colt. My boyfriend wants me to add green star polyps too because he likes how they look like grass.

He's only sharp if he's upset. He can stick all his quills straight up to poke you. Normally he's soft though. He likes hugs and snuggles in my sweater pockets.

I'm paranoid with zoas because of the Palytoxin...
But all seems a beautiful selection!
I was looking at the Kenya Tree but since it depended on food and not only on light wasn't sure, if you get one, please let me know how it goes!
I have a green star polyp and is beautiful! It indeed looks like grass lol

Sounds really cute! I only see one IRL and they was feesing her cookies... Dunno if it was correct, but she seem to like them :3

Looks like a discoma to me also, not sure of the exact species however. Regardless should be fairly easy to care for.

Thanks guys! The weird bump in the middle is gone now. No idea what was up with that. It looks just like the other discos I have now. It's 2" across already!
