Have appx 50 lb (not weighed) TBS live rock, and appx 25 Lb TBS live sand. Enough to stuff a 24g nanocube real full (I like lots of rock). The rock has excellent coralline growth and looks very good. Also a couple of hitch hiker cup corals and perhaps some other goodies. Probably a snail and/or hermit or two.. Maybe even a shroom if they come back.
Looking to get rid of this cheap.. Like $40, which basically covers my water and media cost for keeping it "live" for the past couple of weeks.
Here's the catch: This is from a nuked reef tank where the heater blew up and electrocuted everything. The rock has cycled and is stable again, but now tests positive for copper. Hermits and ceriths have been fine in it, as have the cup corals (even through the cycle, which was quite massive) so I don't know how bad the copper really is.. But I'm not going to use it for my reef anymore. Have a new batch curing right now.
I'm not an expert in this, but it should work great for a FOWLR tank.
Asking for honor system in that no one purchase this rock with the intent to resell / trade without disclosing it's history.
Anyone want it? Pickup only in Franklin
