How do I change this?
I ordered 11lbs of "nano rock" last night. Someone from your company called today to verify the cc info. Later in the day I called back and asked them to ship it on monday so I would get it on wednesday without it sitting in a warhouse all weekend long. I was told that it had not yet been entered for shipping and that changing the shipping date would be fine. The order was successfully changed to a delivery date of 7-18 as you can see from the screen shot of my comfirmation email below (the original delivery date used to be this friday before the delay for verification). After that I received a shipping notification email saying that it had shipped and would be delivered on monday. So now it will be sitting in a warehouse all weekend (probably in very hot california), and instead of getting a little die off, everything on the rock will be dead. So now I'm paying 5.50/lb for completely dead rock. This was supposed to be for a birthday present for my father's 60th birthday next month...I just hope that with all the die off it will be cycled in time, and that I will be able to seed his tank with sand from mine, because I doubt there will be anything left on this rock if it is shipped dry like last time. Here's the screen shot showing a delivery date of 7/18/07...
I ordered 22lbs of this rock two months ago, had it shipped overnight, and it was great despite the rock not even being covered in wet paper. I hardly had any cycle because of there being so little die off, and bugs (good ones) started showing up after only a few weeks of placing it in the tank. That obviously won't happen this time. I ordered from you again because I was very pleased with the last batch.
I'm not really sure that there's anything you can do about this, but I just figured you might want to know about the shipping discrepancies in your system so that this doesn't happen to anyone else.
