LTA anemone appearance change

I've had my long tentacle anemone for a little over 3 months now. He spent 2 days finding a good spot, and one he found it he hasn't moved. He hosts my black ocellaris clown and I direct feed him one silverside every Saturday morning.

Lately I have noticed a change in his appearace. His behavior is still normal, he grabs onto food, and he contracts if I finger him.

But his color and the thickness of his tentacles have changed. Up until a few days ago he had thick brown tentacles. A few days ago that changed and now he has transparent thin tentacles. Almost needle like tentacles that come to sharp points instead of the rounded ends they used to come to. And his body and tentacles look transparent. He just looks transparent now. He still acts well.

What could this mean?

I was struggling with temps in the mid 80s and just added a chiller and now the temps are back to 78F. I thought maybe the heat was distressing him, however stabulzing the temps with the chiller has not returned his appearance to the way it was before.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Josh
