LTA bleaching??

Hello again. The LTA I have had for about 4 months now looks like it is starting to bleach?? I feed it Silversides 2 or 3 times a week and have a 300 watt sunpod on an 40 gallon breeder. The tips of it's tenticals (sp?) are getting more white to them and it is not expanding as much. My trite, trate and ammo are 0 and I have no corals or other anemones in the tank.

Just a little perplexed. Ideas?

Well after a little trial and error I think that it may have been its location. it was kinda wedged between a rock "canyon" I made in my tank. It really was not able to spread out but I thought it would relocate on its own. I rearranged the rockwork a little to allow it to open up and feed it tonight. Closed up on the silverside immediately.

The next problem I have is with my new Occ. clown. He will not eat. I have tried: cyclops, mysis, formula one frozen, frozen brine shrimp, heck I evn tried some free goldfish flakes!

I have a Coral Beauty, it eats like a pig and they both hang out together, but the Occ. just goes after the food and turns away.

Spending money on food I can't use
