LTA Help...

So I am brand new to RC and had a coupe questions about my LTA. I dug out a spot for him in my sand bed which is 4-5" deep and covered up the bottom of the LTA. Well about 30 minutes later he is sideways just laying there. Does that mean he is not ready to be planted yet? Any advice will help.

It took three months for mine to finally hold on to anything. Once it's not stressed, fully acclimated it will plant and if it will eat feed once or twice a week to help it regain some health. Someone can correct me if I'm mistaken.

leave it alone. let it sort out where it wants to be. try to target feed it some krill or mysis in 1-2 days. what does its oral disc look like? tight or gaping open?

what kind of lighting do you have?

I have currently had my tak set up for 6 months and just got him not long ago. I tried putting tuberware container in the tank full of substrate. Nothing... His mouth is tightly closed and Ive been feeding him twice a week a half piece of Krill... My lighting is a Coralife Deluxe Series Double Linear strip lighting. 135 watts

mine took a but to attach too. what i did for my purple lta was i dug a hole inthe sand close to some rocks so he can get to the glass and the rocks. it now stays on the glass. once they get hold, they usually dont let do. hake sure his foot can touch glass and or some rock.
