So I've had this LTA for a few weeks now. I put it in the tank and it attached right away. After a few days it detached and ended up stuck to a powerhead but i caught it in time before any damage was done. Its next attachment was on the glass and it stretched as far up as possible. It has since let go again and i had to cut a piece of power head grating to get it out. I put it down in my sump for now since i had to get to work.
Do my issues sound like its lighting? Thats my initial thought since it was reaching so much. I have 250w Metal Halide Fixture but could my bulb purchase be the issue or will all bulbs work? I ordered a Kessil A360WE Yesterday and hopefully this solves my problem. Any help / advice would be great.
