LTA how do I know if splitting?

I have a gorgeous LTA ( of course I am biased) tha tis pretty big the orbital part of it prob measures 6-9 in when extended... I am wondering how to tell when one splits and if it does what do I need to do? My maroon clown and I LOVE this guy and I wld love to see it split... Any advice wld be very appreciated!

Youll Know when it splits it is ussually quickly. The foot starts spreading apart and then the mouth starts following it and spreading farther apart until how both sides tear apart and then the two halves start healing up. If im right the LTA does not split to much.
 
nice LTA - how long ago did you stick the maroon clown in? and how long did ago did you put the nem in? it took my maroon about a week to relize my LTA was in the tank lol
 
that actually looks like an RBT. RBTs will have long tentacles when they have a lot of flow in front of them and if it is an RBT yes it will split if you feed them weekly. one day you'll notice the mouth open really wide and disgusting looking and then they will look like it's ripping appart then that's when they split in two and you'll see half mouth on the two then they start growing tentacles around the ripped part of the mouth eventually.

Sorry, but the anemone pictures is not an BTA (( E Quadricolor )), but is an LTA (( M. doreensis )), 99.99% certain.
 
Thanks for the feedback! He is indeed a LTA verified through my fish guy lol... I actually used to have a LTA that the maroon came with but bought both from Petco (yeah I know) the LTA I had lasted a mth and then I asked for some advice on here and had to flush the little guy, I did a water change had my lfs do water param. check and since they are very familiar with my tank and lighting he recommend the one I have now. I have had him for little over 2 mths and he is doing great turning a deep emerald color and has grown atleast and inch since I brought him home, my maroon took to it immediately! He was a sad sight when his other nem kicked it, tried to feed my live rocks and corals LOL. This nem is strange tho, it loves my other fish and crabs as well as my corals. I have some micro feathers that it pets... YES PETS! also had some zoos and a hammer that landed in it overnight by accident didnt find them till next morning and it never stung them. When I say im in love I am! LOL
 
How do you know if your LTA is splitting..... You'll end up with two! :)

Sorry, couldn't help myself. I think I was dropped as a baby.
