Just got my first long tentacle anenome a few days go. Hasn't found a good spot yet and I just noticed it retracted its tentacles inside its body. Should I be concerned its dying?

It might be still trying to settle in. If you start seeing it spewing stuff or looking like its melting, then i'd start to worry.

They can retract, sometimes they ball up real tight, they can even disappear in the sand bed.
You need to list a lot more info to know what's going on for sure, tank/size/specs/parmas/time running, and pics are great if you can.

It appears to have attached itself to the side of that rock more than before now...hopefully it will move cause it would be very difficult to feed in its current location
