LTA wont settle down

He moves into a spot,digs in-pulls out and moves again every 3 days or so...
my sand bed is only 1-2 inches deep...with lots of rock in the tank...

this one gets huge when fully expanded 9-11 inches...

will he eventually settle in? or will he never be happy with my shallow sand bed???

They like 5 or 6 inches. I had one for years in container with fine aragonite. Some people fill a tupperware plastic container with fine sand and put the anemone there and let it dig in. You can place live rock around the tupperware tohide it.

You could try moving the sand and making it deeper on one side of the tank if you don't like container idea. Dig a hole for it next to a large rock and place it in that hole. Make sure the place where you want the anemone to be doesn't have too much water movement. If there is too much current in the area they will try to find a place where its not like that. I hope your LTA settles in soon for you..good luck
