LTB: Furniture Grade Stand, Canopy, etc.

If you read my Cadlights thread,

then you know I may be downgrading soon. Before I jump into this though, I wanted to make sure I didn't miss a deal that someone was getting ready to offer, then end up regretting a downgrade.

My wife wants a "furniture grade" stand and canopy. I've seen a few around that would be acceptable to her--but I'm not looking for the typical oceanic-type stand.

I'm talking the "polished" looking professional finish, with maybe some crown molding, etc. Something that looks like it should be in the living room, which is where our tank is. I am not good at DYI, as I'm too much of a "Non-perfectionist". My motto is, "good enough", so I don't want anything that I would have to build, mod, stain, sand, paint, etc.

I realize that to have one custom-made for the current tank will just $$$. Having one made is really not an option, unless I was going to upgrade.

Therefore, here's what I'm interested in . . .

Either someone getting rid of a 75, 90, 110 or other 48 x 18 tank and stand with a beauty of a stand AND canopy (I can always turn around and sell the tank, as I realize most people aren't selling just a stand and canopy)

OR

Possibly even a smaller tank (not a 55)--again, that has a top of the line stand and canopy

OR

I could be coerced into an small - medium upgrade if the price was right on a 6 foot tank. Again, I'm ONLY looking for a setup with a beauty of a stand and canopy.

Oh, and we are looking for a darker wood finish .

If I don't find something, like I said, I'll just downgrade to a 39 Cadlights. This is probably my better option anyway, as it will be less time and energy spent on a tank. Just looking to check all my options. Whew! I just wrote a book. Sorry.

I have one listed on RC. Not best shape but maybe it will do for a while. Paul

Thanks guys. What I'm looking for is something more "furniture-like". My wife approved this one below--the problem is, it's in Chicago.

Best bet is to have a local with some talent build one for you... Shouldn't be too hard to find if you look around.
