LTB: MH Setup for my 29g

Ok, so I need to make the move up to MH so I can keep a few more things in my 29g that I've always wanted. I was thinking 250w MH, but I might do 150w if the price is right.

Anyone have a used setup they are looking to sell? Or possibly even parts (ballast or fixture)?

If not, what's a decent setup that won't cost me an arm and a leg?

I like my "open top" tank, and really don't want to put a hood or canopy on it so retro fits won't really work for me, but a pendant will.

Any suggestions?

I did have a pendant for sale. But lately I have been thinking of putting a 3rd 250w MH on my 90. I may hold on to it.

Any muscians here? I would trade this for a halide unit.

I recently bought a new VOX AC30 so I' no longer need my Fender stack.

- Fender FM-100 100watt Half Stack
(comes with head, cabinet, all cables and dual switch pedal)

Paid over $600 just about 6 months ago for this. Looks almost brand new.

Yay, found one locally!

Picked up a brand new 36" Coralife Aqualight Pro from someone who bought it then decided to go bigger and never used it.

Not bad for $200!

The 10k stock Coralife bulb is a little too yellow/white for me, any suggestions on one a bit more blue/white? I hear Phoenix 14ks are nice, but haven't seen them in person yet...

that or pair it with a super actenic. i Just put the 20 k in mine.

I am running the Coralvue 14K MH with super actinics and the SPS pop with color. On the other side I have a 14k MH with a 50/50 and 10K and it is a little whiter but its over my softies/LPS.

Hey hobbyist must do this all the time but I would be worried about melting down the acrylic in the nano.

For those of you with nano's is this a concern?
