Ludnix's tropical 120!

How is the new heater working for u. I just ordered the same one just wanted to know some input on the heater. Also great tank:celeb3:

looking that good with no water change in 6 months? wow...you must be doing something right in maintaining balance in that tank.

your tank looks amazing and its really cool to see how much the coral have grown over time thumbs up man

I'll snag some updated pictures for everyone some time this week!

Right now the tank has been pretty much on autopilot for almost a year now. My parents topoff of the tank and feed the fish regularly, but otherwise it's only cleaned or dosed when I come to visit a few times a week. Still no water change in ages and the SPS keep growing.

The aquarium is definitely going to be broken down in the near future. It would be nice to sell it running, but that can certainly be a challenge, I imagine most of the stock will be sold and then tank cleaned and dried to be sold.

I started this aquarium as a senior in high school, I'm now living on my own and about to receive my associates degree. It had an excellent run, and I hate to break it down, but I'll be moving to Hawaii within a few months and it won't be needed any longer.

I moved a few of the nicer corals from the tank into the display at the local fish store, but when I stopped working there their display took a bit of a decline and I'm not certain how the corals I put in there are doing.

It is sad that you might sell the tank. I hope you find the time to get back soon.

If you are moving to Hawaii then you get a good chance to upgrade.

Good luck and wish you all the best :)

I'm sad to hear that, too, but still eager for pictures! This has always been one of my favorite tanks.

Isn't it particularly challenging, by the way, to get livestock for reef tanks in Hawaii?

I've sold the aquarium to another user on here who lives locally to me. He'll hopefully update you guys on the tank's state now that it's under his care. :)

I don't plan on starting an aquarium in Hawaii as much as I love them. It is indeed to difficult to get certain corals there, but I plan on seeing as much of it in the wild as I can.

Not yet, the house is currently up for sale and I'm taking a summer session of classes, after that I'll be there hopefully!
