In the 400w version can i "overdrive" (or what ever the proper term is) a mogul socket bulb?

Usually, mogul bulbs does not need to be over driven for it run in its full capacity not like dual ended bulbs. Thanks.

Hey Nate, I have one of these ballasts and yes, if you want you can overdrive them. I currently run my 250w SE Radium 20k on the "HQI" setting.

These are amazing ballasts, they run completely silent and you can put your hand on them hours after they have been running.

*Important note as per the instructions from the company: The highest setting can only be used with the highest wattage lamp for the ballast (I.E. you get the 400w, the highest setting on the ballast is only for a 400w lamp).*
