Woah... Where did I miss that this was coming out...???

LX 6200HV

Was their an announcement, or is this it...?

What is the upgrade path for current LX6100 users?

Do we have to replace all of our LED clusters?

Its such a small change it really is for deep tanks and those that want more blue, the upgrade is available but the cost is high. All clusters have to be replaced hense the cost and you really have to justify is it worth it when the 6100 is already pushing all boundaries.

The change is basically yellow LED out and another colour temp blue is in.

If we get more demand for the 6200 than the 6100 of course it will become the standard. Retail cost of both is the same.

I would say most marine keepers would get the 6200 as they will have better colour at full power .

Only the user can decide this one. A lot of personal choice. If you want more blue then yes it will be popular.
