What do I do? I though it was ick, but it grew. When I first got him, it was on his tell, it disappeared, then got a smaller on his right pectoral fin. it seems every time I make large water changes, it disappears. He has been in the quarantine for over a month.

from what I understand, its not deadly, and there is not cure.

Andre,

Lymphocystis is rarely fatal, and then only if it involves the fish's mouth. It is contagious, but most long term home aquarium fish have been exposed to it sometime in the past, and are therefore self-immune. Do NOT try any surgical intervention, this almost always increases the chance of spreading the virus or inducing secondary bacterial infection.

That said, a picture would help positively identify it as Lymphocytis - I'd hate to give this advice to do nothing, only to learn that the problem was actually something more deadly.....

Thank you for your input Jay, The spots have not appeared every since I made the water change four days ago. I sometimes notice he has cloudy tips on the right pectoral fin, but its not very noticeable. His left pectoral fin has always been clear. He has something on the left side of his nose, it appears pealed. I think he has always had it, but I only recently noticed it.

This is his left pectoral fin
