Lyretail Anthia

Can anyone give me the low down on lyretail anthias. I have a 125g that I wouldn't mind getting some anthias for. I have to feed a good amount already with my butterflies.

Well what do you want to know about them? They're a pretty active fish that's relatively hardy and easy to care for. They do need more than 2 feedings a day. Not in large quantities, but at least enough to keep them happy. What else is there? If you have a 125 then I'd say you're good to get about 4.. a male and 3 females. Maybe more, depends on what you have in there already.

i have a couple in my 75 gal display, they are very nice and active, i have read about them liking multiple small feedings a day, and some days i do that, but they are doing fine with the normal every other day feedings

I recently got a male and 3 females (will be 1:4 but one didn't make it and is being replaced by the lfs). They needed live brine for a couple of days, but took to frozen quickly after that. Just something to be aware of - they may not eat frozen right away.

They are beautiful fish. I am looking forward to the completion of our 180 (just added water) - their future home.

Really? First I've heard of that. But I haven't asked about it either. We were thinking of adding a flasher wrasse once the tank was established.
