Lyretail Anthias hiding (after 4 years)

I put 3 females in the tank 4 years ago. Lost one female early. One female turned male and have been happy for 4 years. Have not added any fish in almost 2 years. Recently they have both gone into hiding. The male hid so well I was sure he was gone but now I can see both. They don't come out to feed but I'm sure food gets into the area they are hiding. Sometimes the female is with the male and at others is on the other side of the tank. All other livestock seems fine. Tank is a 6' long 150 gallon. No changes in food or feeding routine. Anyone know why?

any chance another female is turning male? they could be fighting over territory and female

I don't think so. Sometimes they are hiding together

If they hide, then they are sick or more likely something is chasing them.
