I got 5 lyretail anthias from the Doc's last Friday. One of the females had a small raised black spot on her back right at the top. It was about the size of a small bb but definitely didn't look like anything attached, just raised skin. I hoped it was just a bruise.
They have been in my qt tank and since day 2-3 have been very active and eating pretty good. Her spot stayed the same for about 4 days then started to look like it was fading for 2 days. Then, it was just as black again for 1 day and i started to worry. Yesterday, the black spot was gone, almost like it fell off but underneath was fleshy and a little puffy. Today, it looks worse, more fleshy and almost looks like a tiny black spike is sticking out, very tiny.
She is eating and very active but what should i do? Any ideas what it is or what to do???
