Lyretail trigger for sale

I have decided to take my lyretail trigger out of my reef. I am planning to add 2 small lyretail female anthias to go with my male anthias and a regal angel and feel his hearty appetite might disturb them when added to the tank. He is about 3 or so inches and a very good fish. He is in a reef tank now and doesn't even look at corals, inverts, or small fish as a meal. He is actually the one that get bullied the most in the tank. I don't have a pic of him because he is now in my refugium hiding in the rocks but he is a georgous blue/green color and starting to develop some red on his tail. I want him to go to a great home and hope someone will provide that for him. Asking $20 or sps frags. thanks!

thanks :) hate to see him go but a regal angel is going to be my show fish and don't want him intimidated at all when he is introduced, too fragile a fish in the first few weeks.

I've been looking at reef safe triggers to add to our tank but and not familar with a lyretail trigger. Do they go by any other names?

Jon

i tried to google as well

He would be great for someone with a 6-8ft tank IMO... They get big and so do their teeth, so be careful feeding them, they draw blood at work...

I may be interested...I would like one, but I am iffy about the whole reef safe comment?

Are these guys normally reef safe?

oh ok the niger trigger ...
i had one in my tank for a while never touched anything...
hew was a model citizen till he jumped out... :(

i have one person in line right now, if he falls through it will be swirlygig and then european if interested.

swirly-- generally they are considered reef safe, as he gets to be large just wouldn't put something super small in with him. mine hasn't even shown the slightest bit of interest in any inverts or corals.

I have a cleaner shrimp and a coral banded...just thought he may want a snack...That would kill me lol...

lemme know...

i had a decent sized cleaner shrimp and medium pepperment shrim, neon goby, hermits, snails, etc.. no issue. can't promise that when he gets large but generally if they are well behaved while young and grow up in the situation they don't change behavior.

ok, trigger is available again. looking for someone to pick him up in next few days for i have removed him from refugium and he is now in contaner with air pump. $20 or trade for sps frags. thanks!

really wanna sell this trigger fast or i'm going to have to take him into a lfs and don't really want to do that.
