MACNA has always been geared more towards the vendors and distributors than the general public. You see more manufacturers showing off their latest devices and even prototypes, but fewer coral vendors than what you see at a show like Reef-A-Palooza which is geared more towards the hobbiest. I do think MACNA has gotten smaller over the past few years, probably from the competition from Reef a Paloiza and other shows. Vendors have limitations on how many shows they can attend each year and there are a lot of choices available to them now, many more than in years gone by. MACNA still seems to get the greatest variety of speakers, hope you enjoy the show!
