If you have not thought about meeting up with us at MACNA in Dallas, TX this year, please consider it and read a bit about it. It is at the end of September, the weekend after our local club frag swap. I already know of 6 or more of us from Memphis going. The more that go, the more fun it will be. Please check it out and join us the WTMRAC in Dallas. Expert speaker lectures, banquets and dinners, huge raffles and prizes, all the coral shops and online vendors, all the latest and newest equipment displayed, the best coral you'll ever see for sale, parties, mingling with the reef experts and reefing world, making new friends, hanging out with WTMRAC friends, ect, etc. If you had the pleasure of meeting Marc Levenson at last years frag swap as our speaker, he and his Dallas Reef Club are sponsoring and running it this year. They have a HUGE club and I expect this to be one of the best MACNAs of all time. It's not one to miss. MACNA is THE biggest reef meeting/conference of the whole year in the USA. Jean-Michel Cousteau is the keynote speaker this year, along with More than a dozen other expert speakers. Here are a few of the raffles prizes among the probably hundreds of raffle items: drawings for multiple Eotech Radion LED lights, multiple chillers, multiple Eotech MP Powerheads, and hundreds more. The grand prize in the past has been such things as an all expense paid scuba diving trip to the Bahamas, so look for something special at this years event. At last years MACNA, every attendee got a nice surprise as everyone came back to their room one night, and Marineland had left a LED pendant for free in every hotel room.
