Macro Algae under T8 (160W) - 100 PAR - 4000K

Macro Algae under 75W HPS - 200 PAR - 2000K?

I have 2 refugiums plumbed into my 240G SPS reef. I harvest aproximately 1-2 five gallon pails of macro algae per month. Every since I started using HPS downstairs on the bottom tank, my macro algae exportation has practically halted my need for a skimmer.

I would like to know if converting to icecap 660 T5 w/ SLR bulbs at around 12,000K, if that would grow macro algae just as well, or better then the 4000K bulbs above? The PAR would be atleast triple that measurement, but I believe plants prefer the red light more then the blue?

Anyone have experience to share?

I would like to grow anemone's in that display fuge along w/ macro if possible.
