I have a significant quantity of Halimedia as well as some chaetomorpha from my classroom tanks. Any interest?

I'll be brining it home with me over the holiday weekend

I'll take some if this is the macro that makes good hitches, I know the chaeto isn't but not sure what the other looks like.....should be getting the seahorse tank this week, was ordered on friday.

Halimedia is the "money plant". Its a calcareous algae like coraline. It is in my seahorse tank but grows better in my reef. Go figure

If you still have some "Halimedia" ... I think I'd like to have just a very small portion for some decoration in my tank... =0)

I have the algae here in a bucket. With a light on it. There is some chaeto for those of you interested in starting a refugium. I wouldn't recomend the halimedia for nutrient export.

Matt,

You never got back to me as to when would be a good time to get some of the halimedia. Anytime except next fri or sat is fine with me. I have to go into the city for a class trip to the bronx zoo on friday and then another bus ride into the city on sat to work the track down at belmont. Going to be on a bus for longer than I want to think about two days in a row...and on fri it will be with 5th graders!
